Learning more about these services and supports can help you identify which supportive housing option(s) might work for your needs. People are linked to supportive housing options when resources become available.
Housing Navigators help people, their caregivers and support networks, as well as the community, learn about individualized housing options, as an alternative to MCCSS funded supportive housing.
Housing Navigators at DSO can help you individualize your plan by:
- providing you with resources and information that can help you create a housing plan
- providing you with a toolkit of resources to help with a housing plan
- connecting you with family support networks to share information
- supporting innovative approaches and planning for housing, beyond the traditional models available
