Important Information for Passport Recipients

SCAM ALERT: Developmental Services Ontario (DSO) does not process funds by email or phone. Email and phone scammers will try to trick you to share your bank details with them. They can also trick you to click on fraudulent links in an email they send you. These emails are spam and should be deleted right away. If you are not sure if an email you have received from us is real, you can contact your local DSO to find out if it is really from us.

Temporary wage increase for direct support workers

People and families who employ or buy services from personal and direct workers with funding from the Passport program will be eligible for temporary financial support to cover their wage increase.

Did you receive an advance on your 2019-2020 and/or 2020-2021 Passport funding allocation?

Please submit invoices to PassportONE for any purchases made from these funds as soon as possible. In order to access more funds than the amount advanced, you must submit receipts and expenses for admissible expenditures to PassportONE totaling the amount advanced. Once that occurs, when you submit your admissible expenses, you will be reimbursed as per the usual process. A reminder that you are still working within the same overall funding amount, it is important to balance your current needs with anticipated costs later in the year.
