COVID-19 updates from your area DSO

Aurora, March 17, 2020 – Developmental Services Ontario (DSO), the access point for ministry-funded adult developmental services, is carefully monitoring the updates provided by Health Canada, along with those from the Federal and Provincial governments. In an effort to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 to clients, families and staff, support from your area DSO will be offered through phone, email, teleconference and videoconference where available.

Closure notices and COVID-19 updates from each DSO agency have been posted under each corresponding DSO regional page. We encourage clients and families to monitor their DSO page closely, and DSO social media accounts for future updates.

About Developmental Services Ontario (DSO)
Developmental Services Ontario (DSO) is the access point for adult developmental services funded by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS) in Ontario. There are nine DSO agencies located across the province; serving individuals in different counties and regions.

When a child with a developmental disability turns 18, children’s developmental services end. Individuals must apply through their area DSO to see if they are eligible to receive adult MCCSS-funded supports that may be available in their community.
